This
spring, the College of Visual and Performing Arts will present a series
of events that represent and reflect the ideals that Frederick Hart
so passionately supported: beauty, meaning, substance and tradition
in the arts. In addition to mounting the single largest public display
of his work ever exhibited, we will also host events that celebrate
the performing arts via the theatre, opera, chamber music, and choral
music.
The
official public opening of the exhibit
is on Sunday, March 28, 2004. Please come and enjoy this momentous
occasion with us. The exhibit is free of charge and open to the public.
The exhibit will close on Friday, May 28, 2004.
The
exhibit will be celebrated throughout the campus with coordinated
musical and theatre works for the duration of the exhibit. Visit our
Related Events" section for more information on event details
and times.
