Course information: Each semester (up to 8 semesters) you are enrolled in the College of Entertainment and Music Business you must register and complete the requirements for MBU/EIS/SNG 4000 credit. If you have not registered as of today, please contact the Advising Center at 615-460-6615.
MBU/EIS/SNG 4000 has 2 requirements: (3) The Insider’s View and (2) Showcases. Each semester you are required to attend three (3) Insider’s View seminars out of 5 opportunities offered and two (2) Showcases out of 6 opportunities offered. You must have your student ID at each event and be scanned immediately following the event to receive credit for attending.
To receive the showcase portion of your 4000 credit you will need to attend and get your card scanned at 2 (out of the 6 offered) of the following dates this fall.
CEMB Showcase Series

· Best of the Best April 5, 2008
All CEMB Showcases take place in the Curb Event Center with a start time of 7:00pm unless otherwise noted.
ASCAP Writers’ Night Series

Each Writers’ Night takes place in the Curb Café and starts at 6:00pm—limited seating, so arrive early.
Attendance Policy: Attendance will be taken at all scheduled events. This course is required each semester of all full and part-time CEMB students. You must have your student ID at each event and be scanned immediately following the event to receive credit for attending. Out of respect for our guests and for taping purposes, you will not be allowed to enter an Insider’s View lecture past the indicated start time. Be on time.

The Insider's View is an informal forum that provides Curb College students an all-access pass to the inner workings of the entertainment and music industries. Top entertainment professionals address topics relevant to their field in a conversational setting creating interaction between students and key decision makers and performers.

Why do I have to attend?
You have to attend a specific number of Insider’s View credits to complete your 4000 credit requirements (see opposite side for more info.) Make plans to attend all of them…you won’t want to miss them!
