Please see Tina Dishman in the Advising Center (BMH 450) to obtain a Sr. Residency Waiver form. Each
student is personally
responsible for completing all requirements established for his or her
degree by the university and department. It is the student’s
responsibility to inform herself/himself of these requirements. A
student’s advisor may not assume these responsibilities. Any
substitution, waiver, or exemption from any established requirement or
academic standard may be accomplished only with appropriate approval.
Advisors help students with their schedules, but the primary obligation
for knowing and meeting all graduation requirements rests with the
student.
Graduation
Requirements
A
student may graduate by
meeting degree requirements listed in the bulletin for either the year
in which she/he enters Belmont University or the one for the year in
which she/he graduates. The general policies and procedures in the
latest edition of the bulletin are always applicable to all students. A
student who is not enrolled for a period of two (2) consecutive
academic years must meet the graduation requirements for either the
bulletin under which he/she reenters Belmont or the one for the year in
which he/she graduates.
