MAA-SE 2009: Conference Dinner and Concert

The conference dinner will take place on Friday, March 13 from 6-8pm in the Neely Dining Room, right next to the historic Belmont Mansion. Tickets are $23.

The dinner will feature some Nashville flavor: a concert of "songwriters in the round" in the style of the famous Bluebird Cafe. Four Nashville-area songwriters will perform their original songs and share the stories behind them. Our four performers have written for Craig Morgan, Buddy Jewell, Trick Pony, Brad Paisley, George Strait, Clay Walker, Charlie Daniels, and many others.

The songwriters are:

• Steve Williams, writer of the #1 hits "Redneck Yacht Club" (Craig Morgan) and "I Get To" (Blue County).
• Thom Shepherd, writer of the #1 hit "Redneck Yacht Club" (Craig Morgan).
• Wil Nance, writer of the #1 hits "She's Everything" (Brad Paisley) and "Round About Way (George Strait)
• Noah Gordon, writer of the hit "You Still Own Me" (Emerson Drive).
