This rock-cut church consists of four chambers beneath a barrel vault. Its early 10th-century frescoes feature scenes from the life of Christ. Indigo is the dominant color behind the figures. 

Karanlik (Dark) Church

This church is carved out in the form of a cross in square with four columns. Frescoes dating from the mid-11th to the early 13th century depict stories from Scripture, especially the Life of Christ.
