Places:
Fly from Nashville to Osaka (Kansai International Airport) and
take
trains to Kyoto, Hiroshima, and Nara in the heart of “deep Japan.” The travel-study program will feature 19 days
in Otsu and Kyoto to read texts and visit sites of cultural importance:
Course
Offered: “Kyoto: Capital of Japanese Culture,” HUM 3950, Junior
Cornerstone, 3
credits taught by Dr. Paine. Students
may also complete ENG 3950, “Third Year Writing,” taught by Dr.
Stover. Credit available for ENG, ENL,
HON, and HUM courses.

$4800
excluding tuition. Summer study abroad
tuition available at discounted rate.
