Barbara Walvoord, PhD, Professor Emerita at the University of Notre Dame, Indiana. Dr. Walvoord’s impact on higher education is vast – in addition to establishing and directing teaching and learning centers at Notre Dame and three other institutions, Dr. Walvoord has consulted and led workshops at more than 300 colleges and universities. Her research focus includes assessment and effective grading.
